For the past few years, we’ve been witnessing the accelerating growth and revolution of electric vehicles (EV), partly driven by new carbon emission-free measures (of both local and global scales) and, partly, by the continuous innovation in EV technology.

Needless to say, EV adoption goes hand in hand with the development of infrastructure supporting new charging stations. The so-called “range anxiety” (worrying that your electric vehicle won’t have enough power to get you to your destination or next charging spot) is still an issue, especially in countries lagging behind or with limited infrastructure. But the speed is picking up.

It is now expected that by 2025, 1 in 5 new cars sold worldwide will be electric, and by 2030, 2 in 5.

And while the coverage grows and new EV stations and charging points continue popping up next to gas stations (and in between), another crucial element is starting to top the EV business agenda: the availability of internet access.
